I have not encountered this, but I do remember some conversation in the
past about some IMAP servers and clients having issues with subfolders
which contain both files and _more_ subfolders. Seems like Mozilla and
Courier IMAP were the chief complaints. I don't have time to search for
it now. Gotta run.
Try a google query something like this:
http://google.com/search?q=mozilla+imap+subfolders
Is the problem only with multi-level subfolders? Experiment with
subfolders that contain only files and NO additional subfolders. This
might point you in the right direction.
