jump drive

hi; got a new jump drive so i can transfer photos from one place to
another etc..
can anyone tell me how to make a mount point for this and mount it?
i'm pretty busy in dog training season now, so i really appreciate any
help here that is specific.
i am using rh 9.0
thanks so much.
