I have to make a recommendation tonight for calendaring software that
supports iCalendar files to a group of non-geeks. While I suspect there
are no Linux users in the group, It is sort of a matter of principle
that I recommend software for Linux, and MacOS as well as Windows. My
problem is that what I know of that runs on Linux is Mozilla Calendar
and Evolution. While these may be fine applications in their place,
they are almost as heavyweight as Outlook/MS Exchange. This group is
more of a WinDates or iCal bunch. Is there something along those lines,
an app that simply publishes, subscribes to and displays calendars for
Linux?
Folks in this group wouldn't mind commercial as long as it was
reasonably priced.
TIA
