9.0 should see the jump drive after you plug it in, that is if it is USB. I
am using SuSE 8.2 and when I plug in my usb camera to upload the pics, it
automatically detects the camera and places an icon on the desktop. Mine is
given the name sda1. You can also use the disk useage utility in the system
utilities menu to mount the drive using a GUI. For SuSE you open view disk
useage select the drive, then choose mount device...
