My wife uses some commercial graphics, clipart and destop publishing
layout software that includes proprietary clipart.
The clipart is saved in strange formats to discourage reuse without the
commercial software. They are not in any open format standards.
If the clipart was "just graphic files" and the licensing allowed reuse
with different (competing) software, then, yes, we would use with an open
source Unix.
