I am in North Scottsdale. Near the hospital. This is actually my first attempt
at using Oracle on Linux, so yes I am making progress. I am currently taking
Oracle at SCC but I am using a winXP box, and I don't want to any more.

My emphasis in school is Networking and Database however I want to know it
best on a *nix platform as the future is in *nix. I have taken all of my
programming courses, but I will take some more c++ as it was my favorite.
I too Access last semester and although it is a joke of a dbase it is very
useful to me now as I can visualize the dbase although I am using nothing
more than command line in sqlplus.

The dbase I need to connect to is at school, so I do have to config the
tnsname.. So I guess the answer is just the client although I would prefer to
install everything, after all I did get it free from the OTN.
