Honesty is a wonderful thing! Right? Well I really have to say that the best
newbie book I've gotten (I have had lots of them) is called Unix Complete
(c)1999.
The first chapter (that's as far as I've gotten) is very well written.
It is a very inexpensive book too. Only $20. So if it turns out to be like the
rest of the books I've gotten concerning *nix it won't hurt. This book is 438
pages of tutorial and 524 pages of man pages. In fact would anyone be
interested in buying the other book I bought at the same time? It's called
"Linux System Commands" which also is a print up of the man pages w/o the
tutorial. I need the tutorial.
