Subject: syslogd problem
I have been working hard to get my server back on line.
Thanks Jeremy and Craig for your advise on this matter.
Got SSH going and works great and turned off telnet.
PuTTY is the MS windows client I chose for SSH.
Got my firewall in better shape. Learned a lot about
rootkits etc.
A good site to see about rootkits and there evolution that
I found is: http://staff.washington.edu/dittrich/misc/faqs/rootkits.faq

Thanks,
Dan
