How did you upgrade?

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade =20

is what you should have used. If you didn't you should try that.=20
Normally you just do apt-get upgrade, however in the event you are going
from woody to testing or sid (or knoppix to sid) you really should do
the dist-upgrade.
