Subject: Mouse rapid clicks on elevator buttons acts like held-down button
When I click the mouse #1 (left-hand) button more than once at a fai=
rly=20
rapid rate on the scroll arrow heads in OpenOffice, the window scrolls as=
 if=20
I'm holding down the mouse button even though I've released it completely=
=2E=20
Eventually the scrolling stops but I can't say exactly why -- I've tried=20
various combinations of subsequent mouse clicks and keystrokes but with t=
he=20
lag between actions and results (the cessation of scrolling), it's hard t=
o=20
say if there's any cause/effect going on. I *think* I've seen this in oth=
er=20
programs but can't say which one(s) -- I spend a lot of time in OpenOffic=
e=20
scrolling, but not that much in others.
     Anyone else seen this? I'm hesitant to upgrade OpenOffice for just t=
his=20
problem but this wierdness is really bugging me today.

Particulars:
     RedHat 8.0 system
     OpenOffice/Help/About says version 1.0.1
     "XFree86 -version" reports version 4.2.0

     Thanks In Advance!
