RH 8.0 only had lynx? Hmmm. Well, we can put however many of the two that
are available for the distro :). I also presume we'll be installing RH 9
when installing RH anyway.

apt-get update && apt-get -t unstable install gaim
There's the docs for debian ;-). Not quite, but I think we can arrange for
the latest version for more distros.
Maybe we should use something else. I think other IM client will have the
same problem in that it wasn't a problem with gaim, rather it was a problem
because one of the IM networks changed protocols to lock out clients like
gaim and gaim changed to show them that that isn't easy :).
