I think we're OK if we have the waiver. Maybe put an ID number on each form
that could be matched up if we had to. I'm probably the only person who
cares about the privacy, though...

Danke. We still want clients, but that should be default with all of the
distros.

Ah, maybe I should do a better job keeping up :). It was a good suggestion.

'links' rather than 'lynx', I think. Actually, I think we should install th=
e
text-based utils by default. They don't require much space and then we know
we have a base set of tools if we're helping someone remotely.

ncftp or another client that can do re-gets for ftp.

I agree with the tutorials regardless of gaim's issues. I mentioned gaim
because it seems ( from what I've read ) to handle the most protocols.

We should probably point everyone at jabber as that seems to be the
consensus on the list. Maybe we should setup the jabber clients to go to a
particular server and room?

Maybe setup gaim to irc to Hawke's server.

We definitely want to have a docs package that gets installed on all boxen.

PHP. Let's not make them suffer Fortran :).

Ruby? Java?

We just need a cache of it. Due to licensing I think we'll have to do it vi=
a
a proxy. Doable, just a pain.
