Interesting... All of my logitech wheel mice have had pretty much the same
config. The only difference being USB or PS2. This includes my wireless
(MX700). I have used it as both a PS2 mouse and a USB.
When I pulled out the USB optical from my workstation I did cycle the power
and reboot the box to get the mouse recognized, but no changes were made to
any of the config files.
