I suggest strongly against AutoCAD, or any CAD, or any gfx program
period, on an LTSP setup. There's a reason why the CAD boxes are usually
the heaviest loaded boxes (except servers sometimes) and part of that
reason is the bandwidth to do all that gfx work.

Does anyone have any experience running LTSP in a work environment that has=
a few essential windows apps that need to run? More specifically,

Quickbooks 2003 Multiuser (needs a separate "workstation" installation per =
user) (3 need it in our case)
TransactIt (TCP/IP credit card processing app for Win32)
AutoCad 1 user only
UPS WorldShip software (utilizes a special printer) (many users preferably)

Wine doesn't play well with QB 2003, VNC is ok, but we will need 3 addition=
al systems minimum, Windows Terminal Server would work, but its too expensi=
ve.

Any ideas? Thanks.
