Subject: the best laptop for linux
I've had great success with my Dell laptop (Inspiron 8200). The only
thing that doesn't work too well is suspending it (doesn't work in X due
to a limitation of the nvidia drivers). Other than that, it works great,
I can burn cds, watch dvds, use the internal network card, modem,
firewire, wireless, tv out, and everything else without any problems.
Plus the issue with suspending it doesn't bother me too much since with 6
hours of battery life I don't have an overwhelming desire to conserve
electrons like I have with other laptops.

While not quite perfect, it certainly does well, and Dell will likely be
at the top of my list the next time I'm looking for a laptop.
