SCSI Data Cables/Connectors are different than IDE cables. IDE drives
have 40 pin connectors, SCSCI 1/2 have 50 pins (I'm not going to go into
68/80 pin configurations since we are talking CD-ROM)
Look - New 52/56x IDE CD-ROM drives were advertised in today's paper at
Fry's for $20
Has to be cheaper and easier than buying a used SCSI controller and
making it work unless you enjoy the exercise.
