George,

I am working on installing Debian on an old 486 laptop and I remembered your
email from August. I just looked through the Linux Journal archives, and I
cannot find any article that matches your description below. I checked July,
August, September and October issues and no luck. There was an article in the
August issue about a guy who attached his wife's DOS 386 to his LInux box - was
that the article you meant?

Thanks!

Mark

This month's LJ has an article devoted to underpowered computers -
distro and office apps.

Irrefutable fact about projects: You can have
it Quick, Cheap, or Right - pick any two.
What does that tell you if your project is ahead of schedule and under
budget?
