As was pointed out, this is an option. You may specify that you don't
trust other people, or perhaps that you only trust certain people. In
this way, your web of trust has no strands leading away from you.
PS: I just realized that Thoreau is not reading my messages (due to the
signed content), and therefore I shouldn't be replying with the word
"you". I think the content is still interesting to the rest of the
