It sounds good, but I think it causes more probs than it fixes. We need
their monitor to make sure X is setup properly for their computing
environment. Also that means 3 people can't watch what their box is doing.

We've had a couple of firewall talks at the PLUG meetings recently and in
Jan we covered alternative dists such as the floppy firewalls.

I think this would be great for the InstallFest, but I think it would also
be horrible for the InstallFest. It's horrible because it adds another level
of confusion and it detracts from what I see as the main goal: get people
using Linux on their desktop. It's great because I hate suggesting they put
up a box that doesn't have a firewall in front of it.

I think we need to hit a happy medium by showing them tools like Firestarter
and having them firewall the box via local rules.
