I would suggest
www.apache.org. And lot of linux distributions come with default configuration files, all you have to do is change the domain name and copy your html files to documentroot.
If you want, I don't mind sharing my Apche Web Server Administration book(Craig Hunt). As my regular unix job doesn't require web administration, it is just collecting dust.
