From the customer side, I wrote Parsons Technology a letter asking why
Tax Edge didn't have an option for Hawaii. The next year, it would fill
out the form, but couldn't print it due to not being approved by the
State. I did a side-by-side comparison of Tax Edge, Turbo Tax, and
TaxAct (I think). Parsons Tax Edge was the best of the three. Two years
after the purchase of PT, Turbo Tax improved dramatically, and I've
always credited the improvement with scavenging the Tax Edge product's
code base.
