About 5 years ago I switched to deploying "out of lease" Enterprise WiFi
APs (Ruckus and Aruba units sourced on eBay*) for my WLAN setups (personal
and SOHO)
Lately, I have used the Aruba IAP series with a built-in "virtual
controller."
With two or more in the setup, they form a cluster that can be managed from
a single dashboard.
