PLUG Friends ...
I need help and I will be glad to pay
someone to help me get my out-of-date
Linux systems updated.
I have four (4) Thinkpads with these
old versions of Linux Mint installed:
#1 T420 linux Mint version 18.1 Serena
#2 T430 linux Mint version 18.1 Serena
#3 T460 Linux Mint version 20.1 Ulyssa
#4 T530 Linux Mint version 19.1 Tessa
#1 is my primary computer and the only
one on which (almost) everything works
the way I want it to work. But the OS
is now too old so it cannot be updated.
Every week, I back up all of my data to
the other three, but each of them have
various deficiencies; including, I cannot
get 4 virtual desktops to work with unique
screen backgrounds on each desktop.
I am considering replacing my old Thinkpads
with T460's or T470's or T480's like these:

Which would you recommend, and would KDE
be better to install than Linux Mint?
