Well, when one could buy them, I would give out Raspberry PIs to any and
every kid I remotely knew. They functionally do A LOT yet are low powered
enough to keep a kid focused. The ARM processor creates just enough of a
software moat to where a kid needs to do a little more work to make the
device do 'fun' things. Also, the 3rd party accessory market is wonderful
too.
