Subject: Re: OT Cable Modem Woes
I don rent the modem from Cox, I own it. It is a lot cheaper to buy a cable
modem than rent one from Cox.

I will call Cox again and see what their level 2 phone tech support says.
With the door to the cable modem cupboard open, it has been running all
night and is still at the 19 - 21 ms Google ping level. I will see if it
craps out today, but since it is cooler it probably will not if it is a
cable problem.
