Subject: Ubuntu – Win 7 Dual Boot
I have reduced the Windows C drive partition by 60 Gig and now have a 60
Gig unusable partition..

While trying to install Ubuntu 12.04 (from a DVD received at the last
installfest) I get a message about no Root file system defined.

The partitions look like this.

/dev/sda

/dev/sda1 ntfs 208 mb

/dev/sda2 ntfs 171245 mb

unusable 60000 mb

/dev/sda3 ntfs 18494 mb

/dev/sda4 fat32 108 mb

How do I define a root file system?

TIA

George
