That's a weird partition layout. The real problem is that you can only have 4
primary partitions on a non-GPT partition table, and all 4 are currently in
use. You'll have to get rid of at least 1 partition here.
Do you have any idea what sda3 and sda4 are being used for? I would guess
that sda3 is a "restore" partition, containing an image of the machine's disk
as it was when it was installed. This is probably not all that useful to you
since you have partimage available and can use partimage to back up your 'Doze
partition.
So: If you're paranoid, make backups of all the partitions. Then delete sda3
and sda4 and create a new sda3 which covers everything from the end of sda2 to
the end of the disk. Tell your distro's install CD to use sda3 as / . And
think about using something other than Ubuntu; Unity is a pain.
