You would think that's the case, but the numbers don't support it:
The Chromebook in the image has a *lower* resolution (1366x768) than the xoom (1280x800).

In reality, both systems "know" the physical size of their screens, and the chromebook, in addition, connects as a desktop device, while xoom connects as a mobile device.

If you'd like web pages to load more "zoomed in" in Chrome O/S (either for a particular page or for all pages) then this link provides the instructions for how to do so:
