In that case, I'd create a qmail-toaster in a VM guest that runs on your
notebook. Configure QMT w/ fetchmail to get your mail from Gmail, and
you're good to go. Just configure whatever IMAP client to use the server
running as a VM on your notebook. I expect it'd be breezy. :)
