I really don't see how this is pertinent. For this project, I really don't
care about GNU/Linux support for non-free filesystems :).

That patch from Tridge looks like a good idea and something worth putting
in the kernel if it works as advertised ( technically and legally ), but
it doesn't help us get a free and open filesystem to be readable by m$. At
least not that I see.
