Randy mentioned using a ledger rather than suffering the indignity of
paying for software.
I'm fine with paying for software, but it still needs to be Free Software
and it still needs to use a free and open data format.
Are there accountants that support clients who use spreadsheets for the
source data?
In other words, could I obtain or create an OpenOffice.org template for
general personal and small business accounting that an accountant could
use?
If the accountant then imports the data to a proprietary program for
auditing I might be fine with that.
