moin moin, Randy mentioned using a ledger rather than suffering the indignity of paying for software. I'm fine with paying for software, but it still needs to be Free Software and it still needs to use a free and open data format. Are there accountants that support clients who use spreadsheets for the source data? In other words, could I obtain or create an OpenOffice.org template for general personal and small business accounting that an accountant could use? If the accountant then imports the data to a proprietary program for auditing I might be fine with that. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.CiscoLearning.org/ # "The important thing is not to stop questioning; curiosity has its own # reason for existing." -- Albert Einstein --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
