Gnmoe-terminal problems

I have problems with gnome-terminal. Every time type p the set title
window opens. I am running FC5 and have recreated my terminal profile,
removed the app and reinstalled and even told it not to use key
bindings. I have now ran out of things to try, but it still persist. Has
anyone seen this and know how to fix it? You would beleive how many
commands have the letter p in them.
