Subject: stenography/digital watermark in cellphone pic?
I thought I might share this with the linux group... I am interested in
Stenography and downloaded stegdetect http://www.outguess.org/detection.php.

I ran it on a pic I took with my Razr cellphone and it tested positive for a
hidden message! any experts out there who can verify this one? it also
registers for non-standard extraneous header info. if anyone wants the pic
I can send it to you.

I would imagine that the cell companies might like to embed the user profile
in the image to trace pics uploaded to the internet. Is this what they are
doing? jmz
