Hey Vaughn,

Socket A fans are still easy to find, although you may need to hunt for
them a bit. If Fry's doesn't have them, I have seen them at Best Buy
and CompUSA. It may also be that there is simply too must dust built
up. It's something I've noticed more in the desert regions than in
other regions of the country - it simply gets dustier here quicker than
anyplace else. With that out of the way, a can of compressed air might
do the trick as the 'noise' is usually the blades knocking against
something, such as a piece of lint.
