Hacking a key in order to activate what you bought is no
more of a violation of "Right and legal" than a lady staying
in her seat when the bus driver tells her to move to the rear.
Anyway, I don't think the software publishers are choking
on this particular gnat; there's no money at stake. (I just
bought a new copy of XP Pro to help keep them happy.)
