Subject: gear for sale.
I have some stuff for sale thought I would give plug a shot before I threw
all of it on ebay

http://members.cox.net/slegge1/

Thats my ebay ad for one shelf I have 2 shelves and one "filer" (which has
raid cards in it) I have all the workings for a SAN of about 1tb. 30x
36.4gb disks. I also have 2 fiber hubs all the cables and stuff. Anyone
looking for some badass storage let me know off list plz. With an HBA (I
have 2x qla2200 I am willing to part w/) and one shelf you could do jbod
or some software raid (I used freevxfs and linux for a while)
http://www.advogato.org/proj/FreeVxFS/ Also setup this system to boot my
linux box on a "diskless" machine. This gear is silly heavy (Each shelf is
~85lbs) so save the shipping and I will meet 1/2 way in the valley or you
can come pickup. I have all the rackmount hardware for all this stuff and
all cabling will be included for whatever you buy.
THE UPS AND BATTERY IN THE PICS ARE NOT FOR SALE.

Things for sale:
(2 of these) 10x 36.4gb disk shelf w/ dual fan kits dual optical gbics and
dual psu
one SAN RAID box w/ 10 36.4gb disk 2 raid controllers (w/ bad batteries in
each controller) dual psu dual raid controllers dual gbics in each
controller.
(2 of these) IBM (rebadged brodade) optical hubs not sure think they are
14 port..
(2 of these) qlogic 2200 HBA
Lots of optical cables too let me know what you are looking for???

P.S.

To keep this on topic I will be more than happy to help anyone w/
questions regarding the hardware I sell to get it to work in your
application. I dont want to go to where you are but I will respond to
emails and the like. This equipment is all top quality (for its day) and
extreme performance. ALSO NOTE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RUNNING THIS HARDWARE
WHERE YOU PAY FOR POWER. THESE DISKS CREATE A LOT OF HEAT AND THE FANS TO
KEEP IT OUT PULL A GOOD AMOUNT OF POWER.
