How to stop output to terminal?

If I'm online, then go to any terminal screen from F1-F6, something
keeps printing output to it every 5-10 seconds. I can't get anything
done in a terminal because it interferes with any logins or commands
I type. It doesn't happen if I use a shell in X, or if I'm in a
terminal and offline. This is what it's repeating now :

What is the program or daemon that's doing this, so I can turn it off?
I'm using Debian Sid via a Kanotix installation
