If I'm online, then go to any terminal screen from F1-F6, something keeps printing output to it every 5-10 seconds. I can't get anything done in a terminal because it interferes with any logins or commands I type. It doesn't happen if I use a shell in X, or if I'm in a terminal and offline. This is what it's repeating now : Jun 4 10:59:05 localhost kernel: DROPPED IN=ppp0 OUT= MAC= SRC=63.215.26.137 DST=224.0.0.1 LEN=28 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=1 ID=48033 PROTO=2 Jun 4 10:59:35 localhost kernel: DROPPED IN=ppp0 OUT= MAC= SRC=63.215.26.137 DST=224.0.0.1 LEN=28 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=1 ID=39341 PROTO=2 Jun 4 10:59:56 localhost kernel: DROPPED IN=ppp0 OUT= MAC= SRC=4.240.123.14 DST=4.240.24.72 LEN=48 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=125 ID=8262 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=4448 DPT=445 SEQ=3549945816 ACK=0 WINDOW=8760 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0 OPT (020405B401010402) Jun 4 10:59:59 localhost kernel: DROPPED IN=ppp0 OUT= MAC= SRC=4.240.123.14 DST=4.240.24.72 LEN=48 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=125 ID=8432 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=4448 DPT=445 SEQ=3549945816 ACK=0 WINDOW=8760 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0 OPT (020405B401010402) What is the program or daemon that's doing this, so I can turn it off? I'm using Debian Sid via a Kanotix installation Thanks, Siri Amrit --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
