Hey folks,
Thanks to a series of good and bad things happening in rapid
succession this week, I need to move a server from it's current
location to a colocation facility here in Arizona. The problem:
The server needs to be 1 or 2 rack units, and it is currently in a
desktop chassis.
I could run to Fry's and pick up a rack mount system there, which
would be expensive, or get one off of ebay which could take more time
than I currently have. I was wondering if anyone knew of some
local places I could check for that sort of hardware. The machine
right now is a 1.7GHz p4, but it's cpu utilization is low enough that
I think I could drop back to a p3 class machine.
If you've got any data, please let me know. I think offlist would
be better to keep the chatter to a minimum.
