I agree it doesn't seem to be a mysql issue. I included the info about
mysql connections taking a long time to illustrate that it doesn't seem
to be an ssh issue. :-)
On all three of the affected systems, I can ping outside addresses by
name, (
www.yahoo.com), but not internal machines by name. However, I
can ping internal machines by ip address.
