That's a nice HowTo for Ubunto (and Debian). We could have used it
yesterday (doh! for not looking there), as Preston's HowTo is
(understandably) Fedora-centric. I particularly like step #3:
apt-get install build-essential fakeroot linux-headers-`uname -r`
Cool.
Indeed, Ubunto is getting rave reviews. There were many positive
impressions of it at the IF yesterday (mine included), and I can't think
of a single negative aspect that anyone voiced. It also seemed to be the
most popular, as far as number of installs. Bryan - will you be sharing
numbers (stats) on that?
I too strongly encourage anyone who's interested to give it a test
drive. I'm installing it (instead of Debian) along side of Fedora 3.
