I'm new to this list. However, my take on your question.
1. Some NIC's use the CPU to processing. However, I believe RT8139's are
solid NIC with onboard processing. Is that NIC on the P200 in an ISA
slot? Perhaps that is the reason for speed reduction.
2. If the Intel Card is a PCI card and the RTL is an ISA card, I'd
choose the Intel over the RTL.
