I like the suggestion regarding copyright. But I do not know enough to know
how it fits with GPL or GNU

However the legal entity issue was really a question of should we track
donations and user demographics in phase 1 or phase 2. ASULUG needs to know
these things as we give receipts for charitable donations, and we apply for
government and private funding, some of which is only interested in certain
demographics (Minorities, Women, Students, Educators, First time users of your
service, etc, etc, etc)
So, when we move to phase 2 (Mega Installfest and ASULUG Installfest) we need
to have these things tracked. However, for phase 1 we may be able to just
track members/volunteers and their related skill sets and duties.
