Direct hire UNIX position

Description: Perot Systems Healthcare is in search of a SENIOR UNIX
ADMINISTRATOR to work on a major healthcare account in Phoenix, AZ.

The ideal candidate must possess strong skills and experience in
performing UNIX administration on AIX systems including IBM P Series
Regattas. SAN (Shark) knowledge is needed as well. Exposure to HACMP
Version 4.4.1 and above and/or Cerner Millennium Administration will be
a bonus.

The ideal candidate will also need excellent customer service skills
while attending to escalations in the form of incidents and requests.
Other responsibilities include server upgrades, OS upgrades, supporting
application upgrades, investigating and implementing packaged solutions
for a variety of maintenance, backup and recovery and documenting system
specifications and configuration. In addition, the incumbent will engage
in System Architecture process for Cerner application product
implementations. Should be able to guide and work with the team members
to develop efficient solutions for UNIX systems maintenance, primarily
AIX. Must be team oriented and demonstrate ownership and commitment.

The required skills for this position include in-depth AIX
administration, knowledge of SAN, and administration in HP and Sun.

Preferred skills include HACMP, Cerner Millennium Administration, Linux
exposure, and TSM experience.
