It is telling you that the Cisco BroadBand Operating System is being
started with base services, but that the config file that is present
in it's NVRAM didn't pass CRC. So it is basically headless.
The recommended course of action at this point is usually to reload the CBOS.
IIRC this is accomplished from a Windows Box via their CBOS CDROM that
is shipped with the Unit. I have found these on Ebay for about $5
dollars in the past.
I am rusty though, I stopped using Qwest DSL 5 years ago.
