Waiting for something to respond that doesn't respond. Imaging a toilet
stall in a public restroom. Someone goes in and locks the door, but then
never comes back out. That stall then becomes unavailable even though the
others might still get continued use.
Linux is good, but there are still occasional wedging issues.
