Linux Kernel 2.6.10 and Slackware 10 oddness

all,

I figured out what the wierdness is in slack 10 I was complaining about a
while ago. I upgraded udev and hotplug from slackware-current and since then
everything has been great. SSH works, man works...

I forgot that I had done that, then never updated the group!
