I don't surrender to bogus marketing speak. It's either "Solaris 2.8 and
2.9" or "Slowlaris 2.8 and 2.9" it is not "9" and "10" and I don't care
what Sun's marketing people think.
m$ thinks it 0wns words like "word" and "office", but I refuse to surrender
the language to them.
Yeah, futile, but I still have my principles. One is that marketing
shouldn't make decisions for me :).
I understand your point about name calling, but just because someone's
chosen a misappropriate name for themselves doesn't mean I have to honor
it. If someone wants to legally change is name to "Lord and Master" I'm
likely to call him "id10t" :). Corporations have their spin, I have mine.

Let's say I'm getting something from J. Doe there would be something like:
<jd>well, what I think....<jd>
or
<jdoe>well, what I think...<jdoe>
or even
### WELL, WHAT i THINK...###
with several other variations. Those that don't do that are worse because
I need to run diff on the email.
Quoting and paragraphing is all hosed to hell.

Bah, it seems that most of the people I know using things like that are
doing it from home and using pop accounts for email.
How do evolution, thunderbird, kmail, etc. handle quoting from a GUI MUA?
ciao,
