#1 - if you do someone a favor and they seem not to appreciate it, it
would be better off to let it go than to carry it forward with
resentment. If you can't do favors without obligating the intended
recipient, you have attached more importance to it than just merely
being a favor.

#2 - It seems unfair and unnecessary that this forum gets used to merely
trash someone's reputation. Any regular reader of this list has surely
made up their minds about 'Mikey' - One way of dealing with it is:

/dev/null

#3 - This is a community and much like your relatives, you can't always
like them all but you have to learn some tolerance, empathy or else a
set of rules to deal with those whose posts you would rather not read.

#4 - We all have other things to do but we have "opt'ed in" to this
list. We can always delete the messages that don't appeal to us but
let's endeavor to get along.
